Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in daily living activities.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Facilitate community engagement and social interactions for individuals.
- Implement individualized care plans developed in collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements
- Experience in patient care or direct support roles preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly valued.
