Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes.
- Implement care plans developed in collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care.
- Assist with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Support clients in participating in community activities and social events.
- Document progress and any significant changes in clients' health or behavior.
Qualifications
- Experience in patient monitoring or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital sign assessment and CPR certification is required.
- Familiarity with memory care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for patient assistance.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Experience in home care or senior care settings is a plus.
- Understanding of developing individualized care plans is beneficial.
