Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health status.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the care team.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Educate clients about healthy living practices and available resources.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong background in home health or patient care settings.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary needs of clients.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy is beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
