About the Role
We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our team as an in-home nurse providing care to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering personalized care.
The primary responsibilities of this role include managing patients' healthcare plans according to physician instructions, providing individualized care such as bathing, grooming, and assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, and educating caregivers on patient care techniques.
- Develop and implement comprehensive healthcare plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Provide compassionate and dignified care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and any notable changes or concerns.
Requirements
- CPR/BLS Certification (Required)
- Valid In-State Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Multi-State License (MSL) in Nursing (Required)
