Job Overview:
We are seeking an in-home care nurse with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for individuals who are intellectually or developmentally disabled. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Peg Tube/G-Tube patients and strong time management and organization skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the healthcare plan for assigned patients according to physician instructions
- Provide personalized care, including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities
- Monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
- Identify and address potential health issues, such as infections, bedsores, and wounds
- Educate and advise caregivers on patient care techniques
Requirements:
- CPR/BLS Certification is required
- Valid In-State Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Multi-State License (MSL) in Nursing is required
