Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced in-home care nurse to provide exceptional one-on-one nursing care to individuals who are intellectually or developmentally disabled. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the healthcare plan for assigned patients according to physician's instructions
- Provide personalized care, including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities
- Monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
- Check for signs of infection, bedsores, and wounds, and provide appropriate care
- Educate and advise caregivers on patient care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare personnel to develop and improve patient care plans
Requirements
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Valid In-State Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Multi-State License (MSL) in Nursing required
- Peg Tube/G-Tube experience required
