We are looking for a mission driven Obstetrical (OB) Care Coordinator to join our team!
The OB Care Coordinator works with patients and the clinical team to improve the clinical outcomes of pregnant patients from the antepartum through the postpartum phase while also helping to support clinic workflow. They coordinate care for patients, making sure to thoroughly document for reporting purposes. The OB Care Coordinator also ensures continuity of care for the newborn patients.
This is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L) at the Women's Health Center. The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Current Medical Assistant Registration OR graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program required; current AAMA or NHA Certification preferred. One or more years of experience in case management or healthcare preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 30 days of employment.
- Certified Medication Aide required within first three months of employment.
- Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel) required; experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to continually improve performance through reevaluating procedures and increasing proficiency.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, task orientation, analysis, and detail orientation.
