We are looking for a mission driven Obstetrical Case Manager to join our team!
The OB Case Manager works with pregnant patients determined to be at risk of having a negative maternal or infant health outcome. This person will collaborate with the clinic, patient, and outside resources beginning anytime in pregnancy and concluding at birth. The OBCM will be responsible for all documentation related to OB Case Management visits, assessments, care plants, etc.
This is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L). The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Current Medical Assistant Certification required: one or more years of experience in case management or OB healthcare preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 30 days of employment.
- Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel) required; experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to continually improve performance through reevaluating procedures and increasing proficiency.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, task orientation, analysis, and detail orientation.
