We are looking for a mission driven Patient Services Supervisor to join our team!
The Patient Services Supervisor is a member of the dental team whose primary responsibilities are to attend to patients face to face, over the phone, via email, and at the time of visit for all OneWorld dental locations. The Dental Patient Services Supervisor takes leadership in attending to patients’ financial questions, payment plan management, understanding of treatment plans, and understanding of insurance benefits, sliding fee scales, and Medicaid benefits. They address any concerns or complaints that a patient may have. They also provide training for new Dental Front Desk employees at all locations.
This is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L). The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One or more years of customer service experience required.
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with online enrollment programs and other software applications preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with OneWorld patients, staff, and external third-party payers.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, with a proactive attitude and a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, but also function well in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to OneWorld’s mission, vision, and values.
- Ability and willingness to travel to and from multiple work locations. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
