Job Summary

The Concrete Finisher is responsible to produce the number of required precast shapes per work orders.

1. Responsibilities

A. Safety

· Promote and engage in a safe work environment

· Report safety incidents

· Display good housekeeping in work areas

· Ensure adherence to OSHA and Onex safety policies

B. Planning and Scheduling

· Stage materials for optimal pouring schedule

· Onsite assessment prior to commencing work to ensure all equipment and material is staged

· Report any need for material procurement

C. Productivity

· Minimize loss of materials to stay under budget for job

· Complete work in a timely manner

· Work with department to overcome challenges to keep the job on schedule

D. Quality

· Accurate and reliable with the quality of work results

· Ensure job scope was completed based on material requirements

· Ensure proper mixing/pouring techniques were used

· Patch pieces as necessary for aesthetics

E. Administration

· Submit timesheets daily

· Submit casting logs daily

Physical Requirements

· Respirator Fit Testing – Requires face to be clean shaven

· Requires moving one’s whole body such as climbing, lifting, kneeling, balancing, walking, stooping and bending

· Activities often require considerable use and coordination of the arms, hands, fingers and legs such as the physical handling of equipment and materials

· Requires stamina to physical exertion over long periods of time

· Must be able to move or handle equipment and materials generally weighing up to 100 pounds

· Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug screen and subject to random Drug Testing upon hire– Onex is a Drug Free workplace due to the safety sensitive nature of our work

· Wear PPE in field environment

· High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
