Position Title: Mid/Senior-Level Power Application Developer
Location: Kearneysville, WVA /Part Time 1099
Clearance: NACI/Favorable Background Investigation
OneZero Solutions is seeking a Mid/Senior-Level Power App Developer to lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. This role will focus on architecting solutions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to best practices in Power Apps, Power Automate, and integrations with Microsoft 365 and Azure services. The ideal candidate has deep Power Platform-based application development expertise, and experience working in dynamic cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps.
- Lead workflow automation using Power Automate, including complex logic flows.
- Build and manage scalable data models using Dataverse and SQL Server.
- Develop custom connectors and integrate third-party APIs as needed.
- Translate business requirements into functional app architectures.
- Ensure solutions adhere to DOD, Microsoft and industry standards and best practices for UX, performance, and cybersecurity.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Contribute to the establishment of development standards and reusable components.
- Implement and manage integrations with SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.
- Support application lifecycle management (ALM) and deployment processes using Power Platform tools.
- Manage role-based security and data access controls.
Required Qualifications
- 8- 10 years of experience. 5 years of professional experience in application development, with at least 3-5 years focused on Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
- Strong proficiency with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 service integration.
- Experience with SQL, Dataverse, and managing relational data structures.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Power Fx, or scripting for extending app functionality.
- Strong familiarity with DOD security requirements and standards associated with application development
- Excellent understanding of Power Platform security, connectors, and permissions models.
- Familiarity with common cloud architectures, services, and containerized environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or comparable experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Power Apps Developer Associate (PL-400).
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other cloud-based services.
- Proficiency in UX design principles and interface optimization.
- Agile or Scrum experience with project collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
