Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Rep is responsible for maintaining accurate accounts payable records by processing invoices, posting transactions, and preparing ledger entries.
Key Responsibilities:
70% - Process vendor invoices by matching them with purchase orders, reconciling discrepancies, and entering data into the system for timely payment.
15% - Handle inquiries from vendors and staff regarding accounts payable issues, follow up on statements, and resolve billing disputes.
5% - Efficiently complete check runs.
5% - Manage incoming invoices via fax, email, and other sources, ensuring proper documentation and distribution.
5% - Perform miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.
This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in financial record-keeping, and effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
