The Payment Officer will be responsible for managing and executing the company’s payment processing activities, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable regulations. This role involves working closely with the legal and finance team, other departments, and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient payment operations. The Payment Officer will also be responsible for maintaining financial records, resolving payment issues, and providing regular reports to management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Payment Processing :
Manage and execute daily payment operations, including processing invoices, payroll, and vendor payments.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records for all payment transactions.
Ensure that all payment processes comply with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA, and CRS requirements).
Liaise with vendors and clients to resolve payment-related inquiries and issues.
Identify opportunities to improve payment processes and workflows.
Prepare regular reports on payment activities, including metrics on payment processing times, error rates, and compliance adherence.
