Forklift Operator
Shifts: 3rd shift (Monday - Friday from 10:00pm-6:30am)
Pay Rate: $16/ hour
Our Opportunity:
Our client, an industry leader in plastic injection molding and we're looking for an experienced Forklift Operator's to join our team!
What you'll do as a Forklift Operator:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for transporting products or materials to designated areas in a warehouse environment. You will pull orders and load them for distribution.
Your specific duties may include:
- Completing pick ticket orders
- Unloading/receiving all deliveries
- Pulling and staging orders
- Performing rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis
- Helping to organize the warehouse
- Cleaning and sweeping warehouse as needed
- Double-checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
- Operating forklifts safely and responsibly
- Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
- Checking pick tickets for possible errors and clarifying them with staff
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience operating a Sit down / Stand Up Forklift
- Prior forklift certification a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Superior attention to detail
- Experience with various types of machines and equipment
- Attention to quality and detail
- Familiar with warehousing and inventory
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
