Position Overview:
Tulsa Manufacturing Company is seeking a motivated Bilingual Weekend Day Shift Supervisor to lead and oversee production shift employees. This role involves ensuring operational consistency, staff competence, and adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. The supervisor will manage daily workflows, conduct training, and ensure smooth communication across departments to maintain high operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage production employees on the assigned weekend shift.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Monitor production workflow and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Conduct daily shift transition meetings and document progress.
- Provide regular performance feedback and employee training.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.
- Create/review SOP's, FCD/s work instructions to ensure timely and standardized roll-out across shifts and departments.
- Ensure accurate inventory control within ERP transactions, Microsoft AX, to include transactions from inventory, batch work orders, throughout manufacturing operation
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
- Experience with ERP systems, especially for inventory control, is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a noisy environment, as per OSHA guidelines.
