What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist Level 2 position at Onin Staffing?

- Competitive pay rates
- Ability to power on, set up and operate CNC lathes and mills with minimal assistance.
- Must be proficient with FANUC controls.
- Assists in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment.
- Utilizes and abides by all ISO requirements and safety procedures.
- Is flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant.
- Three years minimum experience

What You'll Do as: CNC Machinist
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Operating CNC lathes and mills
- Properly identifies use of inserts, grades, chip formers, fixtures and tooling.
- Cleaning and maintaining CNC machinery
Work Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Proficiency with FANUC controls
- Understanding of measuring instruments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience with ISO requirements
- Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques.
- Three years of experience
