Counter Sales Representative

Onin Staffing, on behalf of a local metals partner, is recruiting for a Counter Sales Representative that is looking for a new full time opportunity in Round Rock, TX. This position has a starting pay rate of $22/hr. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5pm. Overtime weekly! We are anticipating that this role will start in the new year.

What you'll do as: Counter Sales Representative

• Speak with walk-in and call-in customers
• Assist in locating parts and materials in-store or in company database
• Place orders and finalize sales utilizing MetalTrax (transitioning to Enmark)
• Create POs to reflect customer needs
• Occasionally assist with measurements and conversions to ensure accurate ordering experience

Qualified candidates meet most or all of the following:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Must Have
• 2-3 years of Counter Sales experience - preferably in Metal, Construction, or Industrial sales
• Ability to problem solve without supervision/guidance
• Researching product numbers, reviewing diagrams, etc. may be needed at times
• Ability to accurately type - Must Have
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite
• Accurately use a tape measurer to take measurements
