Job Title: Custodian
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Pay Rate: $10.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 pm
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Custodian to keep their facility clean and organized. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining an overall sanitary environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.
📌 Candidates must be willing to undergo a drug screen and background check as part of the hiring process.
Work Experience
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, cafeteria, and other high-traffic areas
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Performing light maintenance duties as needed
- Ensuring school facilities meet cleanliness and safety standards
The ideal candidate has previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience, preferably in a school or similar setting. Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
