This is a Contract to Hire position for a Customer Service Rep. with an hourly rate of $19 in the North Austin area. The work schedule is and 2nd shift is M-F 4PM - 12:30AM. Some weekends and holidays may be needed.
What you'll do as a Customer Service Rep:
- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
- Provides timely feedback to the manager regarding service failures or customer concerns.
- Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
- Communication support via email, order, phone calls:
- Manage and maintain all emails that come into the Customer Service group email. This includes:
- Responding to emails within 15 minutes, acknowledging.
- Taking appropriate action on the email. May include either a forward to the appropriate contact, status requests, placing an order or assisting the customer in anyway.
- Ensuring all emails are addressed.
- Enter new orders and or modify as necessary.
- Confirm next day scheduled orders, daily
- Answer all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner. This includes the Customer Service department main line or your direct extension and follow through with the appropriate action.
- Provide customers with status updates and ETA’s.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate should have the following:
- Ability to prioritize, work independently and maintain a professional/friendly demeanor is essential.
- Be Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Other projects as assigned.
- Escalate situations when needed.
- Two years experience as a Customer Service Representative.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A high level of motivation with a strong work ethic.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a positive outlook.
- Customer/Client Focus.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Time Management.
- Microsoft Suites knowledgeable, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and patience.
- Ability to come in early, work late and be available on the weekends.
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
