Job Requirements
Onin Staffing in Creedmoor NC is currently hiring for Automotive Electrical Installers. Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00am-3:00pm
Job Summary:
Install electrical wiring systems and components on the mid section and tail end of the body on the trucks. Also involves troubleshooting electrical malfunctions.
1.Follow all safety regulations for the individual as well as other employees, including keeping the work area clean and in orderly condition as well as wearing all appropriate safety attire for the job that is being performed.
2.Install lights, strobe lights, back up alarms, trailer plugs, back up cameras, etc. on trucks.
3.Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using rivets and bolts.
4.Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
5.Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
6.Inspect, operate and test products to ensure that customer expectations are met.
7.Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and wiring problems and use critical thinking to solve problems.
8.Cross train in other areas such as Hydraulics and Welding
Work Environment:
Work in an environment that is not environmentally controlled, including very hot conditions in the summer months and little heat in the winter. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including earplugs, safety glasses and/or goggles, and steel toe boots/shoes.
Work Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Will be verified through a 3rd party.
Automotive electrical background preferred (Installing stereos, lights, cameras, etc)
