Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move products, materials, and equipment in and around the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of food products and materials.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of forklift equipment.
Work Experience
Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
