Framer (MKI Installer)

Onin Staffing is Hiring a Framer!

We are seeking an experienced Framer for a Prefabricated Building System Manufacturer. Candidates must have carpentry and framing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Secure correct components and supplies on both interior and exterior of buildings
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for installation
• Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels, wallboards, etc.
• Patch, trim, and smooth joints using tape and plaster
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools while maintaining equipment properly
• Work at heights, including ladders and scaffolds
• Troubleshoot issues both in-house and on-site (must be willing to travel for troubleshooting)

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of carpentry experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and a tape measure
• Strong working knowledge of construction math, carpentry, hand/power tools, and drywall installation
• Self-sufficient and motivated with a willingness to take on all tasks
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including:
• Working on knees and performing overhead tasks for extended periods
• Climbing, balancing, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working outdoors when necessary
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality
