Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $14.00 - $16.75 per hour
Job Summary:
This position involves a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including picking and packing orders, general labor duties, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards. This may include:
- Using order picking systems (e.g., RF scanners, voice-directed systems)
- Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of orders
- Verifying order accuracy and completeness
- General Labor: Perform a variety of general labor tasks as assigned, including:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving and stacking materials
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Assisting with inventory control
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
- May include cleaning equipment and machinery as needed.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
