What You'll Do as a Hotel Cook:
- Prepare delicious meals according to recipes, ensuring great taste and timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain a well-organized work station, emphasizing cleanliness and proper labeling.
- Monitor cooking temperatures for proper protein preparation.
- Check ingredient quality and alert the team to shortages.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the team to achieve common goals.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have previous cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant other than fast food services
- Be proficient with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Have familiarity with diverse cooking procedures (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
- Follow all sanitation protocols
- Have strong teamwork skills
- Have Food Handlers certification or the ability to obtain one
- Need to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, or repetitively carry up to 40 lbs.
