As an HVAC Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in the development and testing of advanced HVAC systems. You will work closely with engineers to build, test, and analyze prototype units, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
What You'll Do as an HVAC Lab Technician:
- Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Prototype Development & Testing: Collaborate with the Engineering Team to build and test prototype HVAC systems.
- Unit Preparation & Testing: Prepare HVAC units for testing and conduct performance and reliability testing.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Accurately record detailed observations and notes on prototype performance.
- RMA Support: Assist with troubleshooting and analysis of returned units as needed.
Work Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Significant practical work experience in HVAC and electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of laboratory safety procedures and practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong mathematical skills relevant to HVAC.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
Bonus Skills & Experience (Not Required but a Plus):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with LabView or PLC programming.
