What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Operate coating machines to produce high-quality coated ink ribbon products.
- Perform product changeovers, including roll exchanges, cleaning, threading, and filter changes.
- Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues to keep production running smoothly.
- Charge raw materials and solvents into mixing systems to create coating solutions.
- Verify product quality through visual and machine inspections and make machine adjustments as needed.
- May operate forklifts safely to transport materials and finished goods.
- Assist in training new team members and support productivity improvement initiatives.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have 1 year of experience operating machinery or chemical mixing/blending, as a plus
- Have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Be experienced using measuring tools like micrometers, microscopes, and gauges
- Have basic computer skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Need the physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have an Associate degree in a technical field as a plus!
