What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic – Mill Operations position at Onin Staffing?
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair mill equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulics. This role focuses on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and minimizing downtime.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 4 PM
Pay rate is based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
· Read blueprints and manuals to assist with repairs.
· Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed.
· Maintain maintenance records and follow safety protocols.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
· Experience in industrial or mill maintenance.
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
· Knowledge of blueprints, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
· Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
· Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
