Manufacturing CAD Designer

We have an amazing opportunity for an AutoCAD Drafter to join our trailer manufacturing team! This role is responsible for developing detailed technical drawings and designs for trailers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with customers, engineers, production teams, and project managers to create high-quality designs that enhance manufacturing efficiency.

• Create and modify 2D CAD drawings for trailers, including chassis, axles, suspension systems, and other componets.
• Work closely with customers, engineers and production team to develop efficient, manfacturing designs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with DOT, SAE, and company standards for trailer manufacturing
• Revise designs based on feedback, testing results, and production feasibility.
• Maintain a library of technical drawings, blueprints, and revision histories.
• Coduct design reviews to optimize structural integrity, weight distributions, and material usage.
• Assist in parts calls and customers over the phone.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
