What You'll Do as a Textile Manufacturing (QC) Lab Technician:
- Perform continuous quality testing to ensure production standards are met
- Size cards on Monday through Wednesday and on Friday
- Check CVs on Fridays
- Weigh silver every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday mornings for 2 hours)
- Conduct complete checks on 8 packages per spinning frame weekly
- Knit rolls from 6 spinning frames weekly
- Operate and repair knitting machines as needed
- Inspect and grade cloth using specialized machinery
- Generate and submit weekly quality reports from the AS400 system
- Communicate any quality concerns to management immediately
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Work Experience
What You'll Bring to the Team as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous experience in a lab or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with quality control practices and equipment
- Mechanical aptitude—ability to make minor machine repairs/adjustments
- Sharp attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills and data entry
