What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Onin Staffing?
Onin Staffing is seeking multiple Material Handlers to work in the North Austin area. This is a temp- to- hire position with an opportunity to work for a company that makes great products that create value and improves people's lives.
We have several day and night shifts to choose from and starting Payrate is $18.50/hr plus shift differential for pm shifts.
Work Experience
As a Material Handler you will perform a variety of duties in the set-up and operation of equipment as defined in the work instructions for each process.
What a typical day looks like:
- Utilize forklift or other equipment to safely and efficiently relocate materials as dictated
- Reviews production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the start-up, operation and control of equipment.
- Perform equipment set-up functions.
- Monitor the operation of the equipment.
- Inspect quality levels of production on the equipment.
- Record data.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment.
- Perform cleaning of the automated equipment.
The preferred Material Handler candidate would have:
- Previous material handling experience
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 85lbs on a regular basis as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
