What You'll Do as an Operations Manager in the Food Industry:
- Champion safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and GMPs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles
- Manage production efficiency, reducing downtime and optimizing labor and resources
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance
- Develop and mentor supervisors and production teams for long-term success
- Ensure production goals are met on time and at the highest quality
Work Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
- Five or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-variable environments
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
