Onin Staffing is hiring a Project Engineer for a third-party logistics (3PL) company in Vance!
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting program teams, ensuring seamless coordination across departments, and maintaining quality control standards. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with program teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Quality Control Management: Oversee product quality through audits, FMEA’s, control plans, and root cause analysis.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop computerized reports and graphs to illustrate key quality metrics and trends.
- Process Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including process flows and standard operating procedures.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Adjust to changes in job requirements, work schedules, and project priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Project Oversight: Provide updates to the Corporate Project Quality/Engineering Manager, ensuring transparency and issue resolution.
- Customer & Supplier Relations: Visit clients and vendors as needed to address concerns, implement solutions, and strengthen partnerships.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze technical blueprints to support process improvements and production efficiency.

Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Automotive supplier experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD systems.
- Strong planning, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of project launches, operations, and quality systems.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Strong presentation and attention to detail.
