What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Inspector position at Onin Staffing?
This is a Contract to Hire position for a Quality Inspector in Austin, TX (78753). This opportunity is available on 2nd shift, 3p-1130. Pay is $19/hr.
What you'll do as: Quality Inspector:
- Inspecting and testing products or processes
- Documenting and analyzing data
- Using specialized tools for inspection
- Participating in ISO audits
- Communicating with the Production department
- Review Specifications, standards, and/or test plans of customer designs, and report feedback to the management.
- Give feedback to the Production department regarding any errors or non-conformances in the assembly process verbally or through written documentation.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate should have the following:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Must have experience reading/interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Math ability including fractions and decimals
- Expert knowledge of accurate measuring
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality environment which included the following materials: Wood, Plywood, and Hardware
- MS Suite knowledge
- 2 years in a quality role
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
