Work Experience
Your Day-to-Day
As a Rice Transfer Operator, you’ll play a vital role in making sure high-quality rice products are processed, stored, and transferred correctly. Your day will include:
- Operating drag conveyors, elevators, and gates to move rice to assigned bins and lines.
- Preventing cross-contamination by ensuring rice types are kept separate.
- Performing physical bin inspections—including climbing heights over 75 ft.
- Following sanitation protocols daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Operating forklifts and grain equipment as needed.
- Grading rice and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Working with your team to meet daily production and inventory goals.
What We’re Looking For

- Prior manufacturing or quality assurance experience—grain handling a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a hot, fast-paced production setting.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A team-first attitude and a drive to get the job done right.
