Safety Technician

This is an amazing opportunity for a skilled Safety Technician to enjoy a challenging role in a manufacturing plant environment. Plus, radically affordable health insurance after 30 days.

• Competitive pay rate of $20.00- $25.00/hour
• The shift might be a split shift between 1^st and 2^nd shifts. Possibly 10a-6p.

What you'll do as a Safety Tech

• Assist, plan, and implement policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
• Train all employees, supervisors, and management in proper PPE use; safety & health, accident prevention, and investigation training.
• Timely report all work-related injuries or illnesses to the Company’s worker’s compensation insurance administrator and provide follow-up information as necessary.

The preferred candidate might:

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a program centered on Safety preferred
• Strong administrative skills
• 30 Hour Certification
