What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator:
- Operate a forklift/powered industrial truck (30-40% of the day) to load/unload materials
- Using barcode scanners & computers to track inventory and shipments
- Prepare bills of lading and verify packing system accuracy
- Conduct monthly & annual inventory counts of materials and supplies
- Ensure trailers are securely docked and safe for loading
- Maintain warehouse organization & safety compliance
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- 1 years of experience operating a forklift
- Current Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Certification or ability to obtain
- 1 years of experience in Inventory & Quality Control
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, with experience using various software programs and RF barcode scanning technology
- Capable of working both on and off forklifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and thriving in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
