What You'll Do as a Sit-down Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker:
- Operate a sit-down forklift with precision and efficiency to move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and general duties, adhering to strict food safety standards.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Collaborate with your team to achieve daily goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Safely lift and move by hand up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift.
- Need to be prepared for a physically demanding role involving bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to ensure smooth operations.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- Minimum of 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced food processing environment.
