Onin Staffing is hiring Sit-Down Forklift Operators at a peanut processing plant in Severn, NC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain safe operating conditions.
· Perform pre-operational checklist items.
· Picks orders according to the pick sheet, records and compares lot numbers and quantities, pack and wrap pallets.
· Verify customer orders to ensure quantity, quality, proper labeling and safe packaging.
· Loading and unloading trucks.
· Receive products, including visual quality inspection, compare and match all information on Packing Slip. Reports any damages / discrepancies to Manager.
· Break down pallets and put product away in designated area, rotating stock for freshness.
· Manage product inventory, including lot number traceability.
Work Experience
- Sit-Down Forklift Experience: 1-year minimum
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Willing to learn and grow, work in other departments or on projects if needed
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a small team
- MUST be able to work as a team in close proximity
