What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Receiving Associate position at Onin Staffing?
Onin Staffing is looking for a receiving and replenishment associates for a warehouse in Durham that distributes pharmaceutical drugs. This position is 1st shift with weekly pay.
- Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm
- $14.50/hour

The Receiving Associate is responsible for scheduling, unloading, separation of and receiving of goods, and the timely, accurate, and safe put away of case goods by following the implemented standard operating procedures.
- Unload trucks/separate freight
- Verify identity and quantity of items received against purchase order for proper shipment
- Inspect and count received items to detect shortages, overages, damages and/or any other obvious defect
- Note discrepancies/damages for reporting
- Expedite received items to appropriate area for staging/stocking
- Operate equipment (forklift, power/manual pallet jack, carts) to unload, move or store materials
- Use the forklift equipment to store/retrieve merchandise and use of the computer to scan / check merchandise to shelves
The Replenishment Associate is responsible for replenishing and preparing items in forward and secondary pick locations for order filling.
- Use computers/RF scanners to scan/check replenishment merchandise to shelves
- Prepare items for order filling
- Pull replenish merchandise
- Check for correct description/quantity of item
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might:
- Operation of forklift
- Unload freight from truck
- Verify count and compare to freight bill
- Separate freight and sort mixed cases
- Ability to count accurately
- Computer/RF scanner
