The Staffing Assistant will assist our Recruiting Team to match qualified candidates with a position that aligns with the teammates experience and skill set. Training and on-the-job experience will be provided with intent to promote to becoming a Staffing Recruiter.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Screen applicants/candidates
- Assist with in-person and phone interviews with candidates
- Assist with background checks and drug screens
- Maintain relationships & communication with both internal staff and clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
- Communicate policies and procedures as well as a benefits overview during screening process
- Stay informed on policies, federal and state laws regarding employment practices
