Responsibilities and Duties
West Chester Seafood Kitchen is seeking an experienced and charismatic Maitre D to lead our front-of-house team! As part of the all-new dining experience at West Chester Seafood Kitchen, youll be the face of hospitality, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience.
- Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and waitlists to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Supervise front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless service and collaboration
- Communicate with the kitchen and bar to maintain service flow
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism
- Maintain a polished, organized, and inviting dining environment
- Uphold service standards and train staff in hospitality best practices
Qualifications
- Experience as a Maitre D, Host/Hostess, or in a similar leadership role in hospitality
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a guest-first attitude
- Experience with reservation systems is a plus
