Responsibilities and Duties
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving the daily complimentary breakfast, greeting each guest at breakfast, and ensuring that the guests are 100% satisfied.
- Set-up and maintain breakfast items, keeping an attractive, abundant presentation that is organized, clean, and meets brand standards.
- Be sure the quality and appearance of the food you serve meets the hotel's standards.
- Keep your station clean and set up with the required supplies at all times.
- Work with the other personnel to see that the side work and other job-related duties are completed.
- Complete an inventory of all food items twice per week to facilitate ease of ordering.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform. Grade school education is preferred.
- Food safety certification as required by state and local regulations and brand standards.
- Previous hotel-related experience desired.
