Summary: As a Google Maps Account Executive on the Onix Maps team, you'll empower leading organizations to transform their customer experiences and optimize their operations by leveraging the innovative power of the Google Maps Platform. You'll guide businesses on how to integrate location-based services into their applications and workflows, unlocking new efficiencies and driving growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Forge strong connections with C-level executives and key decision-makers to champion the transformative potential of Google Maps Platform
Establish yourself as a go-to expert for senior IT and business leaders within key accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and securing customer references
Lead territory and pipeline development, collaborating closely with Inside Sales Associates and Sales Engineers to generate and close opportunities with large enterprise customers
Oversee multiple opportunities through the entire sales process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and acting as the primary customer contact for all Google Maps Platform-related activities.
Dive deep into complex customer requirements, both from business and technical perspectives, to educate customers on platform's capabilities and ensure ongoing satisfaction
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Google Maps Platform and its diverse location-based services
Preferred Skills & Experience:
5 years of field sales experience selling enterprise technology solutions, with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Experience with cloud-based solutions, location-based services or APIs is a plus
Familiarity with common programming languages and web development concepts is beneficial
Proven ability to lead intricate sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals, including contract negotiation
Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM system
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
Ability to forge influential relationships with C-level and Director-level executives
Skillfully assess customer challenges, qualify opportunities, and clearly articulate the value proposition of the Google Maps Platform
A driven self-starter capable of thriving in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Travel Expectation: Up to 15% travel
