The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Foxit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
- Type in data provided directly from customers.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Update existing data.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
Necessary Skills:
- Reasoning: Ability to define and analyze a problem, gather necessary information, and draw valid conclusions for problem resolution. Ability to make effective decisions.
- Technical: Must be detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture. Must be result-driven, organized, and welcoming of constructive criticism. Ability to work in multi-functional roles.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and within the organization via all media, both verbal and written.
