Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and management of both small and large-scale electrical projects. This role is key to maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project success from start to finish. The position is based primarily in Vacaville with a three-year assignment at a job site in Sacramento.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all aspects of projects including labor, materials, budgets, and client communications.
- Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors, clients, and end-users.
- Manage RFIs, financial aspects of projects (labor budgets, POs, subcontracts, invoices), and contract billings.
- Handle change order pricing and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials such as switchgear and specialty equipment.
- Develop tracking logs and manage project timelines to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Oversee and coordinate the engineering efforts on design/build projects.
- Lead scheduling and coordination with vendors, manufacturers, subcontractors, and the field team.
- Attend project and site meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical construction, ideally as a Field Engineer or Estimator.
- High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with estimating, procurement, scheduling, and cost management (labor, materials, subcontracting).
- Strong understanding of electrical power and lighting design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Location:
- Based in Vacaville, CA 95688, with a three-year assignment in Sacramento, CA 95814.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate before starting.
