About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about construction and eager to grow within an employee-owned company. Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or 2 years of equivalent construction experience)
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug screenings (safety-sensitive role)
- Assist Project Engineer with various duties
- Support and implement project safety plans
- Provide technical and safety support to field teams
- Track and report project progress and production
- Estimate material quantities
- Coordinate material deliveries and field verification
- Assist with permits, utility locates, submittals, and project documentation
- Interpret project plans and specifications
- Conduct quality control inspections
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset
- Experience in heavy civil or industrial construction
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Familiarity with Heavy Job systems (a plus)
