Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help design and prepare electrical system construction documents for healthcare, higher education, and commercial building projects.
You’ll play a key part in leading electrical system designs, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Design electrical systems and perform technical calculations and quality control.
- Coordinate closely with other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Prepare detailed design documents for new buildings, renovations, and additions.
- Develop and review electrical specifications.
- Identify cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions.
- Participate in project meetings with clients, owners, and consultants.
- Conduct site visits and review construction submittals.
- Mentor junior team members and support quality assurance reviews.
- Degree: Bachelor's in Architectural or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Experience: 3–5 years in electrical system design, with focus on healthcare, higher ed, or commercial projects.
- Proficient in NEC, energy codes, and other applicable standards.
- Project management experience required.
- FE Certification: Required.
- PE License: Preferred, but not mandatory.
- Driver’s License: Valid, with willingness to use personal insured vehicle for work-related travel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Experience with AGI32 preferred.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
