Description:
On behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced Senior Concrete Estimator with a deep understanding of self-performed, multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California. If you have 10 years of estimating experience in this specialized field and excel at analyzing production rates, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and preliminary pricing for multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California.
- Accurately estimate man-hour production rates for various formwork systems, placing, and finishing tasks, leveraging historical data.
- Analyze and interpret project specifications, drawings, and construction documents to prepare precise cost estimates.
- Utilize estimating software, including Excel, WinEst, Cost-OS, Timberline Precision Estimating, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff (experience with Model-Based Estimating is a plus).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to refine estimates and ensure alignment with project goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience estimating self-performed cast-in-place concrete structures.
- Strong understanding of formwork systems, material costs, and labor efficiencies in concrete construction.
- Proficiency with estimating software tools; familiarity with Model-Based Estimating is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
