In this role, you will directly support and impact our people operations initiatives, to build a high-performing and purpose-driven organizational culture.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle : source, screen, and interview candidates to assess qualifications and culture alignment
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, understand role requirements and create concise job descriptions, and develop tailored recruiting and interview plans
  • Build and maintain a robust and evergreen pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, sourcing, direct outreach, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Deliver a positive candidates’ experience and ensure we provide consistent, professional and timely communications throughout the interview process
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual interview meetings with hiring manager and hiring team
  • Implement applicant tracking system and configure automations, interview scorecards, and ensure seamless integrations with Microsoft Outlook
  • Conduct reference checks, and communicate verbal and written offers
  • Partner with our Marketing team to maintain our attractive employer brand on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, BuiltinNYC, etc.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, time-to-hire, funnel conversions)
  • Partner with People Operations Specialist to support the new hire onboarding process, background checks, drug test, and coordinating onboarding meetings

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with people
  • Ability to attract and hire highly qualified candidates for all roles across the company
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, and with candidates
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and navigate day to day issues or situations
  • Aptitude to adopt new technology quickly and utilize tools and systems to optimize workflows
  • Understanding of HR compliance laws (e.g. EEOC, Pay Transparency, etc.)
  • Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or General Studies
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant recruiting and talent sourcing work experience, preferably in the tech or health-tech space
  • Demonstrated success owning the recruitment cycle and sourcing talent
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
  • Interest to expand beyond recruiting and talent acquisition is a strong plus!
