Position Overview:
Currently seeking 10 skilled Rescue Technicians to join our team and support on-demand standby rescue services across a variety of industrial sites. As a Rescue Technician, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments based on your interests and availability. Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Hazard Assessments: Proactively assess job sites for potential hazards and ensure that all safety measures are in place
- Rescue Preplans & Job Safety Analysis (JSA): Develop site-specific rescue preplans and perform Job Safety Analysis to minimize risks
- Anchor Points & Hauling Plans: Identify rescue anchor points and create tailored hauling/lowering plans for safe extrication
- Atmospheric Testing & Ventilation: Conduct atmospheric testing, monitor air quality, and ensure proper ventilation to maintain a safe environment
- Continuous Site Monitoring: Observe and report changing job conditions to ensure ongoing safety throughout the project
- Accident Response & Patient Care: Locate and assess patients, provide immediate first aid, CPR, and AED, extricate patients from hazardous environments, and safely deliver them to EMS
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside other rescue specialists to ensure smooth, efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Confined Space Rescue and High Angle Rope Rescue.
- Must possess an OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience working in industrial environments (refineries, power plants, steel mills, etc.).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including day shifts, night shifts, and 12-hour shifts.
- Excellent physical condition and ability to perform rescue operations in challenging environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
